Biography

2019: Appeared in 10 games, starting the final eight of the season... Assisted on Colin Weyant’s game-winning goal against Penn... Had three shots against UAlbany and Stony Brook... Recorded nine shots on the season.

2018: Played in 20 games for the Black and Gold, making 11 starts in 2018… He scored one goal, dishing out four assists for six points on 16 shots with one game winning goal… His lone goal of the year was a big one, scoring in the America East Semifinals to help UMBC reach the title game… Had assists against Howard, Villanova, Stony Brook and Vermont.

2017: Played in nine games during his sophomore campaign, recording six shots… Had a season best two shots against Stony Brook on November 1.

2016: Played in 13 matches during his freshman season… Had one goal that was a game winner against Drexel.

Background: Was named DeMatha Soccer Young Player of the Year in 2012… Helped the Stags to a WCAC Championship… Bests performance came in the academy playoffs this past year where he scored two goals against Beachside FC.

Personal: Son of Rhonda Caldewell-Dove and John Dove Jr…. Has three siblings; Julian, Jared, and Riley… Majoring in economics… Chose UMBC over Dayton, High Point and Delaware… Lists favorite pro side as Chelsea and favorite musical artist as Drake.
