Accolades: Named to Fall 2010 America East Honor Roll.

 

2011: Recorded a season-best four assists while starting 14games for the Retrievers… Posted the four assists in athree-game span… Opened with a career-best two-assist efforton Sept. 24 in a 3-1 win at Longwood… Helped set up PeteCaringi for the go-ahead goal in the 63th minute… It was theRetrievers’ lone two-assist effort of the campaign…Three days later, he set up Kingsley Onwuka for a game-tying scorein the 87th minute at La Salle… In the conferenceopener on Oct. 1, his shot in the 77th minute hit thepost, and Andrew Bulls converted the rebound for game-winner in a2-1 triumph… Is one of two Retrievers (Caringi) with 10career assists…. Took a career-high 24 shots on theseason… Leads all active Retrievers with 57 gamesplayed.    

 

2010: Competed in all 20 games for the second consecutiveseason… Started in the midfield on four occasions…Recorded an assist in a losing effort at Towson on Sept. 8…,Drew a secondary assist on Pete Caringi’s late game-tyinggoal vs. La Salle in an eventual 2-1 overtime win over theExplorers on Sept. 15… Three days later, his perfect servedeep in the second half was again converted by Caringi for thegame-winning score in a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Mount St.Mary’s… Scored one of the most stunning goals inschool history to five UMBC a 2-1 overtime win at No. 23 Penn Stateon Oct. 20…  Entered the game just moments before hearched a 26-yard bender from the left wing into the right sidenetting in the 99th minute of action… Two of histhree career goals have been road game-winners.

 

2009: Scored one of UMBC’s biggest and most impressivegoals of the season, getting the eventual game-winner at UNH in theAmerica East semifinals on Nov. 11… As a reserve, heconverted Andrew Bulls’ corner kick in the 41st minute,volleying in a rocket from 20 yards out… Appeared in all 20games and started 16 at a central midfield position… Drewassists in his debut vs. Virginia Tech (Sept. 1) and in games vs.Delaware (Sept. 4) and Stony Brook (Oct. 7)… Scored hisfirst collegiate goal vs. St. Francis (Pa.), the insurance marker,in the opener of the adidas Kick-Off Classic on Sept. 10…Averaged 39.8 minutes played per game.

 

Background: Majoring in economics... Captured a 2008Ontario Cup championship with his club team, Vaughan Azzuri…The team also won The Baltimore Showcase in the spring of2009… The 2007 Junior Male Athlete of the Year and the 2009Most Valuable Player in men’s soccer at Emily Carr SecondarySchool… Lists his best performance as a two-goal effort vs.the Toronto FC U-18 Academy team… Earned Most ValuablePlayer honors in volleyball in 2006… An honor roll studenteach year at Emily Carr… Lists his favorite team asManchester United and favorite book as “To Kill aMockingbird”… Considered schools in the Colonial,MAAC, and NEC, but selected UMBC “because I saw potential inthe soccer program, and the school provided what I wantedacademically”… Has a younger brother, Vasilige, who is18, and a younger sister, Nikolina, who is 16… Son of Slavkaand Zoran Kapor… Full name is Milovan Kapor… BornAug. 5, 1991.
