Biography

Accolades: (2013) Named America East Player of the Week on Sept. 16… Selected as team’s Most Improved Player... Selected to America East Fall Honor Roll. (2014) Earned academic Semester (3.50 gpa) honors in the spring session.   

2014: Scored the first goal in the game against Hartford for his second of the season... Started all 25 games for the Retrievers... Also tallied one goal against Long Island… The former walk-on completed his tenure with 71 games played, 40 starts, five goals and seven assists. 

2013: Competed in all 20 games and logged over 1,000 minutes… Started the first 12 games of the season and 13 overall… Produced brilliant back-to-back games early in the season, contributing two assists in the 3-1 win over St. Francis- Brooklyn on Sept 7 and then scoring a pair of goals a week later in the 4-1 victory at Radford… Credited with the GWG in that game and scored on his only two shots of the match… Played a season-high 74 minutes vs. .GW on Sept. 28.

2012: Super-sub was outstanding coming off the bench to give UMBC a spark… Competed in all 22 games and did make three starts… Tied for fourth on the squad with three assists… Earned first collegiate start vs. La Salle on Sept. 25… Collected his first collegiate point, an assist, in a starting role vs. Howard on Oct. 2… Scored once and added two assists in league action… His first collegiate goal was the game-winner in a critical 1-0 victory at Stony Brook on Oct. 19… Finished a deep Kadeem Dacres’ cross from close range in the 73’ to break the scoreless tie… Played a season-high 78 minutes and recorded two shots in America East title game vs. UNH.

2011: Speedy midfielder competed in five games in his first season for the black and gold… Saw his first action in the opener vs. Mount St. Mary’s… Played in three consecutive contests vs. Penn State, Hartford and Stony Brook late in the campaign.

Background: Completed degree in business technology administration... Walk-on who came out in the spring of 2011 and earned a spot on the team for the fall campaign… Won three varsity letters at Wootton… Scored seven goals and added four assists in his senior campaign of 2009… Named to All-County squad by the Montgomery Gazette… Competed for the Pachuca Internationals club squad, which son the San Diego Surf Cup and the Maryland State Cup in 2009… Is interested in a career in business… Lists favorite professional team as Chelsea… Has one sister, Michelle… Son of Peng Fei and John Ho… Born June 3, 1992.
