Biography

Accolades: Earned SoCon All-Tournament team honors in 2007.

 

2008: Scored goals in each of UNCG’s three-game run in the College Cup, leading the Spartans to the round of 16… Scored the first goal in the 2-0 victory over Duke on Nov. 21, then scored the first goal in an eventual 2-1 overtime win at ninth-ranked Loyola on Nov. 25… Tallied at No. 8 South Florida, but UNCG’s improbable run ended as USF prevailed, 3-1, in penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw after 110 minutes… Scored five goals during the campaign, including other game-winners vs. Campbell and High Point.

 

2007: Tallied three goals and three assists in his rookie season with the Spartans... Scored two of those three goals in his first collegiate game, tallying twice against Georgetown (Aug. 31) in a 3-0 win... Named the team’s top freshman. 

Background:  An NSCAA All-American selection at Northwest... Tallied 12 goals as a senior to earn All-State honors... Participated in adidas ESP camp... Played on Maryland and Region 1 ODP squads...Considering a major in biology and is interested in a career in physical therapy… Has one sister, Johanna, who is 18… Lists favorite movie as Inception and favorite book as The Kite Runner… Considers himself a good cook... Led his club team, Bethesda United, in goals (13) and helped the team to a Top 20 national ranking according to Soccer America.. .Son of Balasam and Alalisa Kadam...
