Background: The 2008-09 Kent School League Player of the Year…Led his undefeated St. Gregory’s side with 24 goals in 10 games… The team also captured the Kent Cup… Posted a hat trick in a 3-1 win over Burgiss Hill Town in a league title game… Ran the 100m and 200m in track and field and earned a bronze medal in 2004 southeastern competitions… Lists favorite professional team as Chelsea FC and favorite book as To Kill a Mockingbird… Nicknamed “Knightrider”…Has two brothers, Chris Knight (21) and Matt Palmer (21) and two sisters, Amelie Knight (8) and Elenor Palmer (19)… Son of Sara and Peter Knight… Matthew James Knight was born on Nov. 4, 1990.
