Accolades: Named to the Winter-Spring 2011 America East Conference Honor Roll.

 

 
 
 

2011: Another Retriever freshman that played a valuable role during his initial season… Competed in eight games, primarily as a defensive midfielder… Produced a goal, six ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers…Gave UMBC an 8-7 advantage with his first collegiate goal late in the third quarter in the 13-9 victory over Albany on April 16… Competed in all six competitions vs. America East teams in 2011.

 
 
 

Background: A two-time nominee for the high school All-Tewaaraton Team and a C. Markland Kelly Award finalist… Named to the Mountain Valley Area and All-Gazette First Team in 2009 and 2010… One of four midfielders in the state named to 2010 Maryland State Lacrosse Coaches Association preseason All-State First Team… His Hawks’ lacrosse squad went undefeated during the regular season and made a run in the state championships in back-to-back years… Older brother, Chris, plays football at Shepherd (W.Va.)… Has a younger sister, Jackie, who is 16… Son of Suzanne and Jim Patton… Born Aug. 25, 1992.
