BOSTON -- After a sensational weekend in leading the UMBC Volleyball team to a pair of America East road victories, junior Hannah Dobbs has been named the America East Player of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Dobbs was nearly perfect in a sweep on Sunday at Bryant, tallying 17 kills on .571 hitting with only one error and nine digs. She opened the weekend with 15 kills and nine digs in a five set win at UAlbany, and over the two games, she hit 388 while averaging 4.00 kills and 2.25 digs per set.

The Retrievers (6-5, 2-0) open the home portion of their America East schedule by hosting NJIT on Sunday at 3 p.m.
