BOSTON -- For the second-straight week UMBC Volleyball redshirt freshman outside hitter Natalie Harris has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. 

Harris tallied a match and career-best 20 kills on .319 hitting with five digs, three blocks and three aces in a five set loss at Big East power Villanova. Overall, she hit .226 while averaged 3.43 kills per set, 1.14 digs per set and 0.43 blocks per set last week.

The Retrievers open America East play this weekend with a pair of road contests. First, UMBC faces UAlbany in an America East championship rematch on Friday at 6 p.m., before heading to Bryant for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday.
