Women's Soccer Set to Host Towson & Wagner This Week

The Retrievers are off to their best start since 2014, when they opened the season 5-1 after their first six contests.
UMBC owns the second-best winning percentage in the America East (.667), behind Binghamton (.800).
The Dawgs lead the conference with 12 goals (2.00 per game) and 10 assists (1.667).
UMBC also leads the circuit with 14.83 shots per game.
The Retrievers set a new program attendance mark with 2,800 fans against West Chester.
Freshman forward Brooke Clagett and junior goalkeeper Amara Codd cashed in America East Conference women's soccer accolades on August 17. Clagett was named both the Offensive Player of the Week and the Rookie of the Week, while Codd earned Goalie of the Week honors.
Clagett, who scored 73 career goals during her sensational high school career, is off to a blazing start with game-winning goals against Mount St. Mary's (8/13), American (8/16), and Fairmont State (8/20). She leads the conference in goals (4) and is second in points (9).
Clagett's five points (2 goals, assist) against Fairmont State are the most in the America East this season.
Sophomore midfielder Zoe Brossman is fifth in the league with eight points (3 goals, 2 assists). Her two assists against Fairmont State are tied for the league-high this season.
Graduate forward and senior midfielder Regan Rubin is tied with Brossman for the team lead with two assists.
Codd slots fourth in the league with 4.50 assists per game. Her nine saves against Delaware on Sunday were the second-most in the conference this season.
UMBC's 16 points (5 goals, 6 assists) against Fairmont State are a league single-game high. The five goals are also tied for the top spot.

Frederick was named NEC Tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring the golden goal in the 104th minute against CCSU to win Wagner its first NEC Championship.
