Villanova, Pa. – The UMBC Volleyball team dropped a competitive five setter (21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 17-25, 13-15) against Villanova on Friday evening.
Redshirt freshman Natalie Harris led the offense and set a new career high with 20 kills and three aces. Hannah Dobbs followed behind with 19 kills and nine digs.
Alissa Grant tied for the most single game blocks (12) since 2014 and most in 25 point rally score era.
Claudia Llamas added 13 kills with three blocks, while Isabel Ostvig set a new career high with 49 assists and added seven blocks.
Hannah Howard recorded 23 digs and five assists in the loss.
UMBC will travel to Philadelphia to face Temple on Saturday. The match is set for 4 pm.
