Volleyball Defeated by George Washington on Saturday

BALTIMORE – The UMBC Volleyball team dropped a four set decision to visiting George Washington (25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 25-18 ) on Saturday afternoon at The Peake.

Natalie Harris shined off the bench for UMBC, tallying a career high 12 kills, while Claudia Llamas led all players with 15 kills.

Hannah Dobbs had a career-high five aces to go with 10 kills and eight digs, and Hannah Howard added a match-high 14 digs and eight assists in the contest. Alissa Grant contributed with seven kills and four blocks.

The Retrievers conclude the three-game home weekend on Sunday with a 2 p.m. match against Georgetown. There will be a pre-game 2025 America East Championship Banner unveiling and a Championship t-shirt giveaway for fans.
