BALTIMORE - Retriever Nation! Basketball season is right around the corner, and this year, the excitement begins early! The UMBC men's basketball team will host an exhibition doubleheader on Saturday, October 11, featuring Maryland, Georgia Tech, and Long Island University right here at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena!

The 2026 America East Champion Retrievers will host the 2026 NEC Champion LIU Sharks at 2 p.m., immediately followed by a matchup between the Maryland Terrapins and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at 4:30 p.m.

• A single purchased ticket will allow entry for both games. We will not clear the arena in between contests.
