Grant and Ostvig Take Home America East Weekly Honors

BOSTON -- UMBC Volleyball's Alissa Grant and Isabel Ostvig earned America East Weekly Awards after helping UMBC go 2-0 in the Country Roads Challenge hosted by West Virginia this past weekend. 

Grant was named the America East Rookie of the Week after she hit .385 with 2.75 points per set, 1.63 kills per set and 2.0 blocks per set in her debut. Ostvig averaged league-best 9.63 assists per set with 1.88 digs per set in the pair of contests. 

The Retrievers travel up to western New York this weekend for road games at Buffalo and Canisius.
