Unbeaten Women's Soccer Takes On St. John's & Delaware This Week

The Retrievers are undefeated through four contests for the first time since 2014, when they opened the season with four straight victories.
UMBC owns the second-best winning percentage in the America East (.875), behind Binghamton (3-0).
The Dawgs lead the conference with 12 goals (3.00 per game) and nine assists.
UMBC also leads the circuit with 18.50 shots per game.
The Retrievers set a new program attendance mark with 2,800 fans against West Chester this past Sunday.
Freshman forward Brooke Clagett and junior goalkeeper Amara Codd cashed in America East Conference women's soccer accolades on August 17. Clagett was named both the Offensive Player of the Week and the Rookie of the Week, while Codd earned Goalie of the Week honors.
Clagett, who scored 73 career goals during her sensational high school career, is off to a blazing start with game-winning goals against Mount St. Mary's (8/13), American (8/16), and Fairmont State (8/20). She leads the conference in goals (4) and points (9).
Sophomore midfielder Zoe Brossman is fourth in the league with eight points (3 goals, 2 assists).
Graduate forward Cece Price is tied with Brossman for the team lead with two assists.
The Retrievers trailed for the first time this season against West Chester last Sunday but recovered to earn a 2-2 draw. Brossman tied the game in the second half with her second penalty kick marker of the season. Senior midfielder Regan Rubin scored the team's other goal on a free kick just a couple of minutes into the contest.
UMBC also defeated Fairmont State earlier in the week, scoring a league-high five goals, the most they scored since a 5-0 triumph over Iona on August 24, 2025. Clagett recorded two goals and picked up her first career assist.

About St. John's

The Red Storm dropped their first two contests of the season against UMass and Boston College but picked up their first victory against Towson last Thursday. The squad also earned a draw versus Columbia over the weekend.
The squad went 3-9-5 in 2025 and was just 1-6-3 in the Big East. They were outscored 25-10 on the season.
Head Coach Ian Stone is in his 33^rd season with the Johnnies.
Junior forward Nora Basile has a team-high three points (goal, assist).
Sophomore midfielder Julia Lombardo tallied the game-winner versus Towson.
Graduate Kayla Bower owns a 1.25 goals-against average along with a .762 save percentage. She's played all 360 minutes in goal.
