COLLEGE PARK, Md. - UMBC men's outdoor track & field completed its final event before the America East Championships at the Kehoe Twilight Meet on Friday evening.
The 4x100 relay posted its fastest time this season, placing third with a time of 40.64 seconds.
Fred-Morgan Iheanacho,
Alim Raji,
Martin Ojulu, and
Karell Clement combined on the fifth-fastest time since 2010 for UMBC.
Jacob Martin clocked a PR time of 1:49.11 in the 800, moving into third on the UMBC all-time performance list with a ninth-place finish.
Kemarley Hibbert joined Martin with a PR, clocking a time of 48.30 in the 400 to move into ninth on UMBC's all-time list.
Simon Essono finished 11th in the 400 with a PR time of 49.07.
Justin Febles finished second in the 400 hurdles, finishing second with a time of 51.48, improving his PR time, but remaining in third on the all-time list.
In the 110 hurdles,
Ojigwe Olua finished third with a time of 14.48, while
Alim Raji finished third in the 100 with a time of 10.83 seconds.
In the field,
Toren Burr picked up an event win in the javelin with a 59.17-meter throw.
Scott Gersten set a PR, finishing second with a 59.04-meter throw. He remains sixth on the all-time performance list.
Nasib Bundu moved into ninth on the all-time long jump list, leaping 7.04 meters to place sixth.
