Orono, ME. – The UMBC Baseball team dropped the final game of the series to Maine, 11-1, in eight innings on Sunday afternoon.
Anthony Mascuilli had the lone run for the Retrievers after he hit a homerun to the scoreboard in right field in the fifth inning. He picked up another hit for UMBC in the seventh.
Danny Orr and Ehi Okojie also had a hit for UMBC. Okojie picked up his third stolen base of the season.
Sergio Droz came into pitch in the first inning and threw three innings with three strikeouts. Droz gave up no earned runs.
The Retrievers will head to La Salle on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 3 pm.
