Baseball Drops Series Finale to Monmouth

BALTIMORE -- The UMBC Baseball team dropped a 13-0 (8) decision it is series finale against Monmouth on Sunday at Alumni Field.

Dylan Melton had a double, while Anthony Mascuilli and Kyle Eddington also had singles for the Retrievers. Jesiah Carpenter, Jacob Bagania and Danny Orr all drew walks, as well. 

Brady LeJeune-DeAcutis was stellar on the mound, as the game was scoreless through five. The Hawks got a solo homer to break the deadlock, before a single ended Lejeune-DeAcutis' day. 

UMBC is scheduled to play at GW on Tuesday and host Delaware State on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
