BOSTON -- After another impressive performance, UMBC Women's Swimming & Diving graduate student Alice Marini has been named the America East Swimmer of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday morning. 

At Towson, she won both the 200 back and 400 IM, with her 200 back time of 1:59.88 being the top time in the America East. 

In addition, she had a 26.74 leadoff split for the silver medal winning 200 medley relay team, and also won the bronze in the 100 back. 

The Retrievers will head to VMI for the America East Championships February 18-21.
