Maggie Frisvold Honored as America East Pitcher of the Week

BOSTON -- After a solid opening weekend of the season in the circle, UMBC Softball junior Maggie Frisvold has been named the America East Pitcher of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon. 

Frisvold went 1-1 with 17 strikeouts and just three earned runs allowed in 13 innings. She only walked four and pitched two complete games, including having a carer-high 11 strikeouts in a complete game victory over St.Bonaventure.

The Retrievers will face UMES and Monmouth this weekend.
