Orono, Maine --
Ehi Okojie hit a pinch-hit two-run homer, the first longball of his career, but third-seeded Binghamton used a big seventh inning to rally past sixth-seeded UMBC, 14-8, in an elimination game in the 2025 Northeast Delta Dental America East Baseball Championship hosted by Maine.
The Retrievers held a 6-2 lead going into the bottom of the seventh, but the Bearcats would rally to eliminate UMBC to conclude the 2025 season.
Senior All-Conference first team pitcher
Nick Remy got the start and went five innings, allowing just two runs and striking out three, classmate

Sergio Droz had a two-run single in the second to tie the game at two, and
Jesiah Carpenter gave UMBC a 3-2 lead in the fifth on a two-out RBI single. Okojie's pinch hit blast made it 5-2 in the sixth, before
Derek Paris tripled and scored on a
Kyle Eddington sacrifice bunt.
Leewood Molessa would hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to trim the deficit, but UMBC would get no closer.
Paris and Molessa each went 2-for-4 on the day while Eddington,
