Annandale-on Hudson,NY -- The UMBC Baseball team dropped a tight 4-2 contest in its series finale at UAlbany on Sunday afternoon.
Danny Wyatt and
Leewood Molessa each drove in a run to put UMBC up in the fifth, but the Great Danes scored the final four runs of the contest.
Brady Fox went a career-best 5.1 innings and struck out seven in the tough luck loss. Molessa and
Danny Orr each had two-hit games for the Retrievers.Â
Jesiah Carpenter and
Nick Pratt had the other hits for the Dawgs, while neither
Zach Robinson or
Sam Bell allowed an earned run in relief.
UMBC hosts Coppin State on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
