BALTIMORE -- The UMBC Softball team celebrated its senior class in style, as it defeated visiting Bryant, 14-2, in five-innings on Saturday to clinch its fifth America East series victory of the season.

Phoebe Florian were honored by the program.
Matter picked up the 50th win of her career, going all five innings, and allowing just two runs on three hits. Nutile went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBI, Brenowitz went 2-for-3 with two RBI and Florian went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
Haley Luginbill smashed a two-run homer in the bottom of the first, en route to a 2-for-3 day with four RBI.
Amaya Carroll added a grand slam in the fourth,
Ella Squaires had a two-run single and
Amya Lundy added a hit of her own. Every Retriever in the lineup scored at least one run, with Nutile and Lundy adding stolen bases.
The Retrievers will be on the road the final two weekends of the regular season, beginning with a trip to Binghamton next weekend.Â
