Softball Drops Pair on Saturday

Athens, Ga. -- The UMBC softball team continued play at Georgia by dropping a pair of contests on Saturday.

The Retrievers fell 14-2 (5) to Stetson in the morning before dropping a 9-0 (5) contest to Ohio State in the evening.

Haley Luginbill stayed hot at the plate with another RBI hit in game 1, while Abby Brenowitz added two hits and scored a run.

Ella Squaires had the lone hit fot UMBC in game two.

The Retrievers close out weekend play against Stetson at 10:30 a.m.
