BOSTON -- After an absolutely scorching week at the plate, UMBC Softball first baseman Haley Luginbill has been named the America East Player of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Luginbill hit .538 (7-of-13) while slugging 1.154 with a .600 on-base percentage, adding two homers, six RBI and five runs scored.

The Retrievers head down to Georgia this weekend to face Georgia, Ohio State and Stetson.
