Kalli Williams was named the #AEWSOC Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. This marks her second honor of the season, as she previously received the same award on September 8.
In a recent match against New Hampshire, which ended in a 1-1 draw, Williams made six saves. One of her most impressive stops came in the 31st minute when she denied Riley Mitza's shot from the center of the box with a leaping save, successfully punching the ball away for a corner kick.
Currently, Williams ranks second in the conference for save percentage (.819), third in goals against average (1.11), and third in saves per game (4.00).
The Retrievers will host NJIT this Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
