UMBC Volleyball head coach Kasey Crider announced the addition of Ella McAllister to the roster. McAllister, a rising junior, transfers to UMBC from Lipscomb where she was a defensive specialist/libero. The Marshall, Michigan native will have two years of eligibility remaining.

"The transfer portal is always tricky, you have to identify and get to know these student athletes in a really short time frame. So we're always a little cautious." said Crider. "But with Ella, it was easy from the start. Her high level ability and character made her a natural fit and she'll be very important to our pursuit of a championship this fall. I can't wait to get her on campus and get to work."
