The UMBC Softball continues America East play this weekend with a three-game series at UAlbany.
Due to weather, there will be a single game on Saturday with a TBA start followed by a noon doubleheader on Sunday.

Amya Lundy hit her third homer of the season, but the UMBC Softball team dropped a pair of contests, 7-1 and 3-1, to host Binghamton on Saturday afternoon.
Lundy had a pair of hits, including a solo homer in game one, before adding another hit in game two.Â

Maggie Frisvold came on in relief in game one, allowing just two earned runs while striking out four in five innings of work.
Kya Matter allowed just three runs in six innings in game two.
Scouting UAlbany:
- The Great Danes completed their first America East series of 2024 with a three-game sweep at Maine after a 4-3 win, Sunday.
- Graduate student Morgan Petty led with two doubles for one RBI.
- Graduate student Caitlyn Mitros hit for a team-high .750 batting average with three singles, including one bunt.
- Four Great Danes totaled one run each - Mitros, Petty, graduate student Maddi Petrella, and senior Jordan Nastos.
- Pitchers Wendi Hammond and Kate Powers combined for the win and six strikeouts. Pitching five innings, and getting the start, Hammond earned her 10th win of the season.
