The UMBC Softball team will play at home for the final time this season when it welcomes UAlbany to The Diamond for Senior Weekend.

Last time out, The UMBC Softball team completed its three-game sweep of host Maine with an 8-0 run-rule victory in five innings on Sunday.

Kya Matter pitched five scoreless innings and drove in and scored a run herself.

Scouting UAlbany:
- UAlbany currently has a 23-11 overall record and are 9-5 in conference.
- The Great Danes are currently third in conference right behind Binghamton and Bryant.
- The last time the Retrievers faced the Great Danes was away this season where the Great Danes took the series.
- Morgan Petty earned America East Player of the Week and Wendi Hammond took home America East Pitcher of the Week.
- Hammond leads the pitching staff with a 2.26 ERA while Kate Powers follows behind with a 2.40 ERA.
