The UMBC Women's Basketball team plays its penultimate road contest of the regular season when it travels to defending champion Vermont on Saturday for a 2 p.m. matchup.

Blount's 33 points were the most by a Retriever since 2019, and her 13 boards tied a career high.Â

Scouting Vermont:
- 61 points in the final three quarters helped Vermont (16-8, 8-2 AE) come out victorious over NJIT (8-14, 0-9 AE), 76-51, on Thursday night at Patrick Gymnasium.
- Thursday's 25-point victory at home keeps the Catamounts undefeated at Patrick Gym against America East competition this season (5-0).
- Emma Utterback led all players in scoring, earning 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting alongside 1-for-2 from three point range.
- Utterback also contributed three assists, two rebounds, and three steals on the night.

- Vermont leads the all-time series, 24-19, with UVM taking the past three matchups.
- The two last met on January 11 at The Peake, as Laura Lacambra continued her stellar play as she poured in a career-high 14 points, but Vermont rallied past host UMBC, 70-55, in front of over 2,300 screaming school kids
- Blount scored 14 and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, while Jaden Walker added 11 points of her own.
