The UMBC Basketball team will head into a 12-day break for finals when it travels to Saint Francis for a Sunday afternoon contest. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. and fans can catch all the action on NEC Front Row.

Jaliena Sanchez led the way with 20 points, three assists and had the game sealing steal with four seconds left to propel the Retrievers to a 65-60 victory over host Towson on Wednesday morning.
The win snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Tigers, and was the first win over them since 2010 and first on the road since 2009.
Jaden Walker and
Jordon Lewis each had 13 points, with Walker adding eight rebounds.
Talia Davis had 10 points and three rebounds.
Saint Francis last competed on Thursday morning when they defeated host Delaware State, 69-60. The Red Flash outscored DSU by 13 points in the 2nd half to overcome a 30-26 halftime deficit.
Jade Campbell had a huge game off the bench, tallying 17 points and 19 rebounds (nine offensive) in only 23 minutes of action. SFU was carried by 44 bench points, including 14 from Natalie Johnson in addition to Campbell's 17.
Last year,
Trinity Palacio had a season-best 19 points, while Sanchez also poured in a season-high 17 points as UMBC ended 2023 on a high note with a 85-53 rout of visiting Saint Francis.
The game was won in the second quarter when Sanchez would go off for 11 points in the frame as the Dawgs ended the half on an 18-0 run to lead 43-16 at the break.
The Retrievers will return to action on Friday, December 20th at George Mason. Tip-off on ESPN+ is scheduled for 2 p.m.
