After a week off, the UMBC Swimming & Diving team returns to the pool on Saturday when it hosts VMI and Saint Peter's. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., and there will be a video stream available on AmericaEast.TV.

Nicol Davanzo were named the America East Female Swimmer and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the Conference announced last Tuesday afternoon.
de Padua had a sensational weekend at the Thomas Murphy Invitational, winning the 200 and 500 free, both in America East best times (1:49.78 and 4:54.63).Â
She also posted the two fastest times in the Conference in the 100 and 200 back (57.00 and 2:02.69).
Davanzo placed third in the 100 fly (55.96) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:06.34). Her time in the 100 was the fastest in the America East so far this season.
Kovacic was named the Swimmer of the Week, while McEachern and Poole were named the Rookie and Diver of the Week, respectively.
At the Thomas Murphy Invitational, Kovacic won the the 200 fly in a meet record and America East-best time of 1:47.46. His 100 back time of 49.00 was also the fastest in the Conference, while his 200 and 500 free times of 1:39.43 and 4:37.06 are the second fastest.
Poole picked up his third Diver of the Week nod after he swept the diving competition and was named Diver of the Meet. His 1 meter winning dive of 338.95 was a pool and meet record, while his winning 3 meter dive score was 344.75 . His 3 meter prelim dive of 3:45.45 set a meet record, and both of his winning dives were NCAA Zone Cut scores.
McEachern was impressive in the 100 free (47.45), 200 free (1:41.69) and the 500 free (4:38.73).
