BOSTON -- Following stellar performances in a 2-0 week, UMBC Volleyball's Mia Bilusic and Hannah Dobbs were named the America East Player and Rookie of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday morning.

Bilusic averaged 4.6 kills and 2.0 digs in the wins, including 19 kills, which is tied for the most by an #AEVB player in a three-set match this season, and six digs in a win over Binghamton on Friday. She then followed that performance with 18 kills and 10 digs in a comeback 3-2 win vs. UAlbany. This is Bilusic's first #AEVB Player of the Week honor of the season and eighth of her career.

Dobbs averaged 4.4 kills/set in two matches, including career and match-high 22 in five-set win over UAlbany. This is Dobbs' first #AEVB Rookie of the Week honor of the season.

The Retrievers continue America East play at Bryant on Sunday afternoon.
