Volleyball Falls at No.8 Pitt

PITTSBURGH -- Kamani Conteh continued her stellar play, but No.8 Pitt was able to get past the UMBC Volleyball team in three sets (25-11, 25-12, 25-21) on Wednesday night.

Conteh had a match-high 11 kills to go with three blocks and an ace. Serin Maden added 22 assists, while Mila Ilieva added three kills and three blocks.

Michela De Marzi had four kills on .500 hitting and added three blocks. Julija Grubisic Cabo had five kills and four digs, and Mia Bilusic added four kills and six digs.

The Retrievers now have nine days off before opening America East play at Bryant
