Women's Soccer Earns Team Academic Award from United Soccer Coaches Association

KANSAS CITY, Mo.  – United Soccer Coaches recently announced that the UMBC's women's soccer team has earned a College Team Academic Award, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.

A total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, 179 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
