Former UMBC defender Jon Bell has earned a call-up to the Jamaican National Team for the Reggae Boyz' international friendly against Guatemala on Saturday, Nov. 11. The contest will take place at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. with a 7:00 p.m. start time.

In 2023, Bell has started seven contests for St. Louis City SC in his first year with the MLS club.

Bell became the fifth-ever Retriever to be drafted into the MLS when he was selected in the second round by the San Jose Earthquakes in 2020. He competed for the New England Revolution in 2021 and 2022, earning a Supporters' Shield in 2021.

The Silver Spring, Md. native earned All Northeast Region First Team honors in 2018 and Third Team accolades in an injury-plagued 2019 campaign.
