The UMBC Volleyball team will make its final regular season road trip of the season when it visits Binghamton in a battle for first place on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Julija Grubisic Cabo had a game-high 11 kills on .310 hitting with nine digs to lead the UMBC Volleyball team to a sweep of host Howard (25-22, 25-20, 25-16) on Wednesday night at Burr Gymnasium.
The Retrievers conclude their difficult non-conference schedule with a 7-5 record, including taking both matches against MEAC favorite Howard in only seven sets.
UMBC (12-7, 5-2 AE) used late runs in all three sets to pull away. In the first set, the Retrievers used a 5-0 run to turn a 21-19 deficit into a 25-22 set win. A 10-2 run in the second set turned a tight affair into a 19-10 UMBC lead en route to a 25-20 set win. The final set was similar as the visitors held a slim 16-14 lead, but ended the set on a 9-2 run to win the set and match.
Aysia Miller flirted with her third triple-double of the season, finishing with six kills, nine assists and seven digs, while adding three aces and two blocks.
Mia Bilusic had a team-high 12 digs, andÂ
Serin Maden had 10 assists, nine digs, an ace, a block and a kill.

- Binghamton has clinched a spot in the America East Tournament.
- The last time the Retrievers faced the Bearcats was earlier this season on October 19, where the Retrievers swept 3-0.
- In the match, Tsvetelina Ilieva registered her ninth double-double with 13 kills and 12 digs and Ella Schabort added 11 kills.
