Box Score Albany, N.Y. -- The UMBC Volleyball team dropped its first America East contest of the year, falling in five sets (25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 13-25, 19-17) to host UAlbany on Sunday afternoon at Russell Sage College. 

The Retrievers fall to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in America East play.

UMBC battled back after dropping the first two sets, and even fought off four match points in the fifth, but couldn't complete the comeback.

Due to a computer issue, stats for the match are not currently available. A final box score will be posted on umbcretrievers.com once it becomes available. 

The Retrievers are back in action next Sunday at 3 p.m. at NJIT.
