The UMBC Volleyball team returns to the road as it faces New Hampshire at Lundholm Gymnasium on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Aysia Miller was named America East Player of the Week, whileÂ
Hannah Howard earned both Rookie and Defensive Specialist of the Week honors, the Conference announced on Tuesday morning.
For Miller, the honor completes the career sweep of every major America East Weekly Award, as she has also been named America East Rookie, Setter and Defensive Specialist of the Week in her career.
In the sweep over Binghamton, Miller hit .476 and tallied 11 digs, 11 kills, and 21 assists to earn her second triple-double of the season. Against Bryant, she helped UMBC (11-6, 5-1 AE) earn another three-set win as she recorded eight kills, 20 assists, and nine digs while hitting .412.
Howard earned the sixth most digs in 3-sets for NCAA D1 this year, recording 25 in the win over Binghamton. Followed up with another 20+ dig performance in the sweep vs. Bryant, tallying 22 digs for a 7.33 per set average. She was also recognized by the NCAA as a Big Time Performer for her match against the Bearcats.
Scouting New Hampshire:
- The Wildcats currently have a 12-8 overall record and are 2-3 in conference after a 3-1 win over UAlbany last week.
- The Wildcats are in fourth place in the America East standings behind Bryant.
- This is the second time the Retrievers face the Wildcats this season, where the Retrievers took the first match 3-1 on October 1, 2023.
- Senior Hannah Serbousek leads the team in kills with 184 and Sophomore Avery LePore leads in digs with 357.
- The Wildcats lead the conference in digs with a 15.28 avg/s.
