FOR THE RECORD

STRAIGHT FACTS

Jade Wilkins (Stoney Beach, Md./The Catholic High School) made back-to-back saves early in the 9th minute

In the 14th minute, Wilkins made another save but the Seawolves were able to rebound the ball and put it into the right corner of the net for the first goal of the game.

Two minutes later, Stevenson (Sellersville, Pa.) took a cross from Meghan McKye (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) and launched a shot from the 20-yard marker at LaValle Stadium, landing the ball in the left side of the net to knot the game up at 1-1.

After a yellow card was issued, the Seawolves converted a penalty kick in the 22nd minute to take a 2-1 lead.

Julianna Rafaniello (Old Bridge, N.J.) tried to equalize the game in the 25th minute, but was met by the Stony Brook defense.

Stony Brook added a third goal in the 35th minute and took a 3-1 lead into halftime.

Both teams were quiet in the second half, with UMBC's best look coming in the 71st minute when Christina Corbi (Medford, N.J.) sent a shot on the net and had it bounce just off the crossbar.

In the 75th minute, Stony Brook looked to add another to the board but Wilkins kept them out of the net.
