Annapolis, Md. – UMBC senior Ilia Rattsev (Moscow, Russia) captured the 100 freestyle on Sunday and was named ECAC Swimmer of the Meet as the competition concluded on Sunday.
Rattsev set meet records in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events and secured NCAA "B" cut times in both events. In Saturday's 200 freestyle, Rattsev broke his own school mark in the 50, going out in a time of 19.71.
Junior Kai Wisner (Syracuse, N.Y.) won the 1650 freestyle and broke the UMBC school record in the 1000 freestyle. He covered the first 1000 yards in 9:18.81, shaving less than a second of Haythem Abdelkhalek's 2018 record and also earning a "B" cut time.

On the women's side, junior Natalija Marin (Belgrade, Serbia) finished the year on a high note, breaking an 11-year old record while winning the 200 butterfly. Marin touched the wall in a time of 1:59.69, defeating the second-place finisher by over three seconds.
