Swimming and Diving Competes at Day One of ECAC Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Members of the UMBC swimming and diving team competed in the events on day one of the ECAC Championships.

 

Vanessa Esposito (Montreal, Canada) finished ninth in the women's 500 free, touching in with a time of 4:59.96. On the men's side, Kai Wisner (Syracuse, N.Y.) finished sixth in a time of 4:31.38.

 

Luka Zuric (Setauket, N.Y.) placed ninth in the 200 IM, touching in with a time of 1:50.82.

 

The teams will return to the pool tomorrow for day two of the championships, with the preliminaries beginning at 9 a.m.
