UMBC Softball looks to continue their winning ways as they head to local rival Towson for a  2 p.m. game on Tuesday at the Tiger Softball Complex. The Retrievers (4-9) are coming off a Sunday sweep of Lafayette and UMES in Princess Anne, Md. The UMBC offense came alive on Sunday, outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 15-0. The Retrievers defeated Lafayette 11-0, in five innings, and UMES 4-0. Juniors Jessica Holte (Ashland, Va./Atlee) and Kelly Lane (Albany, N.Y./Colonie Central) each pitched complete game shutouts on Sunday and will look to continue the scoreless streak against a potent Tiger offense. Senior Bridget O'Malley (Baltimore, Md./Seton Keough) led the UMBC offense this past weekend, going 8-for-11 with four RBI, while sophomore Carly Lesko drove in five runs on Sunday alone, including a long 2-run homer to right-center.
