The women's soccer team gave up two goals within three minutes in the first half, and a pair of goals in less than two minutes in the second half, and fell, 5-2, at Old Dominion. But ODU's Diane Baucom scored twice in a span of 1:42 several minutes later to put the game away. Senior Milana Ward converted a pass from Laura Motley to make the margin 5-2 with five seconds to play. ODU outshot UMBC, 20-8, as Retriever netminders Robin Babaris (6) and Becky Hicock (1) combined to make 7 saves.
