Junior Niklas Weigelt (Clayton, Calif.) earned the meet's Outstanding Swimmer award for the second consecutive year. He won the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events and earned three additional golds on three of UMBC's four winning relay quartets.

"I'm very proud to be part of this program," said Weigelt. "The progress we've made in the past year is unbelievable. The team came together to make the 2022 championships one to remember!"
