Ava Roberts is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after starring for the Retrievers at South Carolina's Weems Baskin Invitational, earning gold in the discus with a personal-best mark of 46.48 meter... She also captured  silver for her 13.92m shot put effort... Both marks are America East bests early in the outdoor campaign.
