Jasmine Holland (Owings, Md./Northern) is the UMBC Female Athlete of th Week after she set a new school record in the triple jump at the season opening Navy Invitational.

Holland broke her own UMBC mark, stretching out at 11.87m (38'11.5"), just .02m behind the event winner. Moreover, the junior leaped 5.64m in the long jump, placing fourth overall and recording the second-best distance in school history.
