Jafar Hussen is the UMBC Athlete of the Week after being the top finisher for Men's Cross Country at the Navy Invitational. He finished 12th overall with a time of 24:38.4, becoming UMBC's fastest ever time on Navy's 4.9 mile course. He bested former UMBC All-American Hassan Omar's time of 25:06.4, set in 2014.
