Toren Burr is the UMBC Male Athlete of the Week after he led the way for the Retrievers on day one of the Towson Invitational with a first place finish in the hammer throw. Burr was the lone Retriever winner on the men's side, taking first in the hammer throw with a toss of 55.10m.
