Kelly Fahey was named Community Outreach Coordinator at UMBC in July 2007. She has since been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Development. In addition to overseeing the athletics annual fund, Fahey is responsible for major gifts to athletics as well as fundraising events. Fahey also works with the UMBC Alumni Association to coordinate athletics alumni relations efforts.

The Bel Air, Md., native received four letters on UMBC’s women’s lacrosse team from 2004-2007 and earned America East All-Conference honors in 2004 and 2006. Fahey earned her bachelor’s degree in American studies from UMBC in May 2007 and her master’s degree in instructional systems development from UMBC in May 2013.
