Tyler Kraft

Tiffany D. Tucker, UMBC's Director of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation, announced the appointment of Tyler Kraft as the department's Multimedia Coordinator in November of 2024.

"We are thrilled to have Tyler join our department," said Tucker. "He is very talented, and we think he will do a tremendous job advancing our brand, telling the stories of our amazing student-athletes on several platforms."

Kraft has been the Director of Video Services and Social Media at Mount St. Mary's University for three years. His primary responsibility at the Mount was creating content for 24 athletic teams and assisting with live broadcasts for ESPN +.

"I'm very excited to start here at UMBC and contribute to growing the program," said Kraft. "There are so many great stories to be told here, and I'm honored to help share them with the world."

Additionally, Kraft assisted in building an ESPN Production Room, hired and taught student assistants, and initiated creative multimedia campaigns. In his first year, Kraft increased Mount Athletics impressions exponentially.

In 2023, College Sports Communicators ranked Kraft's gameday graphics for Mount Men's Basketball 12th out of 1,600 other submissions in the University Division.

Kraft received his Bachelor of Arts in TV and Radio Production from Towson University.
